Guwahati : A B.Tech student of IIT Guwahati, Kanuwar Paul Singh Yadav is missing since yesterday. The IIT-G authority has informed police.
But, a similar body was recovered near a railway track on Tuesday morning.
The missing student is hailing from Rajasthan's Alwar district.
Meanwhile, North Guwahati police had found a dead body of a young man from the railway track near Agyathuri railway station nearby IIT-G today morning.
The recovered body is yet to be identified, but few similarities with the missing student.
It is believed that, the missing student had allegedly committed suicide by jumping before speedy train.
The family members of the missing IIT student will reach Guwahati tomorrow and to identify the body.
